La Repubblica Restaurant is situated in
Marina di Carrara, very near to the wonderful
seacoast that can be seen from Marcello Mountain. Carrara is an art town, full of
traditions linked with the marble quarries and
of course with the famous "Lardo di Colonnata" that
now is a DOP product. Other specialities are tagliolini (home made pasta)
in beans, marinated codfish, rice pie, stewed stockfich and the fish from the Tirreno sea.
Notable wines as "Vermentino di Luni" and the "Candia delle colline massesi" wine are served
in our restaurant.
Our restaurant is on the border between Liguria and Tuscany, therefore
you can taste the typical courses of La Spezia, Lunigiana - like Mesciua - goat with polenta
and some fish courses like our cook Alberto Amegliese's invention "carsair spaghetti".
Outside the restaurant you can find 2 parkings. Open everyday except monday, for
lunch and dinner, including Christmas and Eater holidays and extended holidays etc.
